DIÁRIO DE VIAGEM - 35o dia

Anthony, the nine year old Peruvian kid and his baby bother have been stopping by to hang out. Just as his uncle Danny, he looks like a happy little Hawaiian. Yesterday we talked about flying dreams and modern inventions, today he wanted to tell me about the movie he watched last night. We hung by the shore watching the waves while I held the baby over my shoulders for a while. We talked about iguanas' tails and its caves and his surfing experiences. Anthony has a easy feeling about things, he thinks before talking and speaks slowly, soft and gentle, looking me straight in the eyes. He often asks questions and comes up with elaborated conclusions. Everyday he baby-sits his baby brother for an hour running his stroller around and playing with the animals on the bosque. Million, the little chihuahua with a rothwailler ego and full on Napoleon complex, walks with them chest high, king of the jungle, but makes the cutest face ever when he sees food, just to eat like a maniac a second later and try to sneak up on you with vicious bites after it gets dark. The trio comes around quietly and stays for a while. Corey, the hairy baby with big brown eyes, sits in silent on his stroller looking at things, he never complains or makes any noises, one time I saw him smiling.
